Meeting at Ministry of Works discusses mechanism for determining priorities for 1446 AH plan


A meeting held on Sunday in Sana’a, headed by the Minister of Public Works and Roads of the caretaker government, Ghaleb Mutlaq, discussed the mechanism for identifying priority projects in the ministry’s plan for the year 1446 AH.

The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Works Engineer Muhammad Al-Dhari, and representatives of the services and social solidarity sector and the Executive Office of the National Vision Department, reviewed the priorities specified by the Ministry within the 1446 AH plan, in accordance with the references approved by the Executive Office of the National Vision Administration and the services sector.

Minister Mutlaq stressed the importance of the projects included in the plan that would improve the performance of all sectors and units affiliated with the Ministry, especially with regard to developing the road and bridge network, organizing public works, and advancing the housing sector.

He pointed out the importance of providing the necessary funds to implement th
e plan’s projects because of their importance in improving the level of services provided to citizens in the areas of roads, construction and public works.

The Education Office in Ibb province launched an awareness campaign to boycott American and Zionist goods and products in support of the Palestinians, under the slogan ‘You are not alone.’

At the inauguration, the director of the province’s education office, Muhammad Dirham Al-Ghazali, explained that boycotting American products and companies that support the Zionist entity, and advocating for the Palestinians and their just cause, is a religious duty to strengthen the steadfastness of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance in the face of the American-Zionist enemy.

He pointed out the importance of joining efforts and forming awareness committees to go to schools to implement the steps to activate the boycott within the national campaign to support Al-Aqsa.

Al-Ghazali considered the boycott to be the least that could be provided in support, victory, and assistance to the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.

He stressed the need to spread awareness in schools about the importance of activating th
e weapon of boycott of American,Zionist goods, products, and companies that support the usurping entity.

Libya and the USA discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the area of cultural exchange.

Tripoli: Deputy Minister of Culture for Activities Affairs, Widad Al-Duwaini, discussed with a delegation from the U.S. Embassy in Libya headed by the Public Affairs Officer at the Embassy ways to strengthen cooperation in the area of cultural exchange during a meeting held in this regard.

The ministry stated on its website today that the meeting reviewed areas of joint cooperation in the area of mutual cultural dialogue and integration in Libya.

INJAZ, MetLife co-launch initiative to enhance innovation, build students’ skills

Amman: INJAZ and MetLife Foundation said they are working together to implement a series of INJAZ programs in four public schools in Jordan, focused on building and enhancing students’ skills in various fields.

This collaboration is part of the School Adoption Campaign conducted by INJAZ in partnership with the Ministry of Education, which aims to involve partners and supporters across sectors in the development of the educational process, a foundation statement said Sunday.

Country Manager of MetLife Jordan, Osama Hannoush, said, “Our partnership with INJAZ in Jordan is more than a commitment; it’s a shared vision to develop future generations. Through this initiative, we’re not just educating but empowering young minds to build financial skill sets that will serve them throughout their lives.”

“Leveraging the expertise of our volunteers, we aim to help provide a future where young individuals are aware of their responsibilities and capable of innovating and leading in their respective fields,” Hannoush a

For her part, INJAZ CEO, Deema Bibi, affirmed the importance of the initiative and its direct and sustainable impact on students and the educational environment as a whole. She added that INJAZ values this effective partnership with the MetLife Foundation as a partner and supporter in implementing their various programs aimed at empowering students and building their skills.

Bibi added that at INJAZ, they believe that empowering young people and preparing them early for the job market is a shared responsibility for all sectors and active entities in society.

According to the statement, the initiative includes the implementation of a variety of programs, including the Company Start-Up Program, Ask the Expert Program, Debate Program, Personal Life Planning Program, and Job Shadowing Program. The goal is to prepare students to be more capable and efficient in meeting the future needs of the job market and keeping pace with the developments required by the youth in the fields of entrepreneurship and inno
vation. The partnership also works towards improving the school environment by meeting the basic needs of the participating schools in the initiative.
