ABBAS AFFIRMS TO BLINKEN ‘FULL REJECTION’ OF GAZA DISPLACEMENT, WARNS OF ‘SECOND NAKBA’

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday warned against a ‘second Nakba’ catastrophe facing Palestinians after the Jewish state ordered the evacuation of north Gaza amid the ongoing Hamas-Israel war.

We ‘completely reject the displacement of our people from the Gaza Strip, because it will be tantamount to a second Nakba for our people,’ he said during his meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Amman, according to a statement published by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The Nakba, or ‘catastrophe,’ refers to some 760,000 Palestinians who fled or were expelled from their homes during the 1948 war that coincided with Israel’s creation.

His remarks came after Israel ordered the Gaza Strip residents to flee from the north, an area home to some 1.1 million people. The UN warned of this order’s “devastating humanitarian consequences.”

This order concurs with the seventh day of the war between the Jewish state and the ‘Hamas’ movement and the increased possibility of a ground invasion of the besieged Strip.

The Strip has been under the control of the Movement since 2007 when the latter expelled the Palestinian Authority from it by force.

Israel’s military warned residents of Gaza City on Friday morning that they had to leave the city and head into the southern half of the Gaza Strip, affirming that they would not be allowed to return before another statement was issued.

Hamas rejected the orders to evacuate the north of the Strip that continues to be shelled by Israel.

The Movement said that the Palestinians reject the threat of the occupation leaders and their calls on them in Gaza to leave their homes and move to the south or to Egypt. ‘We are steadfast on our land, in our homes, and in our cities… and there will be no displacement or deportation.’

There have been repeated calls for opening humanitarian corridors before the potential ground invasion by Israel, especially through the Rafah Border Crossing.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on Thursday urged Gazans to “stay steadfast and remain on their land,” warning that the displacement of Gaza residents ends the Palestinian cause.

Egypt refuses the entry of Americans from Gaza unless an agreement includes the entry of aid into the Strip.

Cairo, The Egyptian authorities refused to allow the entry of those holding American citizenship to the Rafah crossing, except within the framework of a more comprehensive agreement that alleviates the burden of human suffering in the Gaza Strip as the war enters its eighth day.

Egypt linked allowing the passage of those holding American citizenship to its territory to an agreement that includes the entry of aid into Gaza

A number of holders of American citizenship, most of whom were Palestinians, had arrived at the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, waited there, and then turned back, unable to enter the crossing.

Egypt demands the necessity to open the Rafah crossing in order to deliver relief aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is facing a humanitarian crisis, in light of the occupation preventing the entry of water and food and cutting off electricity

In order to make it easier for the enemy to pass his conspiratorial projects against Yemen and the nation.

It is a message that the Yemenis are demonstrating today in all lands and regions under the control of the occupier.

He stated that the heroism of the Yemenis in confronting the policies of the occupier and its criminal tools is the best evidence that the approach of the revolution will not stop, but rather its pace will increase with the worsening of the occupier’s violations and its continued starvation of citizens and exploitation of the humanitarian situation in order to achieve its own gains.

Foreign Ministry warns of consequences of displaying excessive force by Zionist enemy and its Western allies

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the escalation of the insane violence of the Zionist enemy against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the display of excessive force and unlimited support provided by the governments of countries allied with the Zionist enemy by sending American aircraft carriers and squadrons of warplanes to the region, as well as sending British warships and destroyers and German drones as a form of threat and protection. Preparing for the Zionist ground aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The statement stressed that the display of excessive force by Washington and its allies in Britain, Germany, France and other European countries complicit in the war of genocide against the residents of the Gaza Strip did not and will not cause any fear or hesitation for the countries of the axis of resistance and the revolutionary factions in several countries to carry out a strong and sudden response if the intensity escalates. The Zionist military campaign against the Gaza Strip and the displacement of its civilian population, as well as those operations against southern Lebanon and Syrian territories.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded the allies of the Zionist enemy that most fires may break out from small sparks. He said, “The Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian territories are not always, as they think, an open theater of operations for the Zionist forces and those who support them.”

The statement stated that the aircraft carriers, destroyers and battleships with which Israel is strengthening today at sea do not guarantee the developments of events, and it is not unlikely that they will be open and legitimate targets for any missiles with stronger destructive power and longer range that will come in response to any comprehensive invasion by the Zionist enemy of the Gaza Strip and the displacement of its residents, as well as its hostile operations on the territories of other Arab countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Yemen’s position calling for stopping the aggression against the Gaza Strip and calling for an emergency meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to stop the escalation and warning of the development of military operations and the situation in the Gaza Strip, which could develop into a comprehensive regional war due to crossing any red lines, intentionally or unintentionally.

The statement pointed out the awareness of the fact that the reassurances or threats of the current allies of the Zionist enemy, which encourage it in its military operations and committing massacres against the civilian population, will not prevent the sudden launch of devastating missiles or the start of counter-military operations by the countries and peoples of the axis of resistance due to crossing such red lines.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Yemeni leadership, government and people stand by the Palestinian people in their recent ordeal, pointing out that the continued killing of defenseless civilians and the violation of the principles of Palestinian human rights in light of the silence of the international community and the threats of the American-Western coalition will not last long and it may be the beginning of a comprehensive war that will eliminate the intruding entity and expel the countries that support it from the region.
