Qatar Strongly Condemns Attack on Residence of Jordanian Ambassador in Khartoum

The State of Qatar has Strongly condemned the attack and vandalism of Jordanian ambassador’s residence in Khartoum, stressing the importance of providing protection to diplomatic missions as well as arresting the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.

In a statement Saturday, the Ministry if Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s position calling for an immediate end to the fighting in Sudan, exercising maximum restraint, resorting to reason, upholding public interest, and sparing civilians the consequences of fighting.

The statement also expressed the State of Qatar’s hope that all parties would pursue dialogue and peaceful means to overcome differences.

Saudi technical team arrives in Damascus to discuss mechanisms for reopening Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Damascus

The Saudi Technical Team responsible for reopening the Saudi embassy in Damascus has arrived in Syria, in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s decision to resume the operations of its diplomatic mission in the country.

The Saudi technical team, headed by Minister Plenipotentiary, Ghazi bin Rafi Al-Anzi, has met with Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan and Chief of Protocol at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Syrian Foreign Ministry headquarters in Damascus.

During the meeting, the head of the Saudi technical team expressed gratitude to the Syrian side for the warm welcome extended to the team. Dr. Sousan warmly welcomed the Saudi team and pledged to provide all necessary means and support to facilitate its mission.

GCC Secretary General Condemns Attack on Jordanian Ambassador’s House in Khartoum

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, has strongly condemned and denounced the vandalization attack on the residence of the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Khartoum, Sudan. He urged all parties involved in the conflict to adhere to the relevant international agreements and treaties, respecting the inviolability of diplomatic premises and missions, as well as safeguarding the well-being of their citizens.

Furthermore, he reiterated the call for the conflicting factions to expedite the Jeddah talks, intending to achieve a comprehensive political declaration that guarantees security, stability, and prosperity for Sudan and its people.

Supported by KSrelief, dialysis center in Al-Ghaydha, Yemen, provides medical services to 139 beneficiaries in March

The Kidney Dialysis Center in Al-Ghaydah District, Al-Mahrah Governorate, Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has continued to provide medical services to beneficiaries.

During the month of March, the dialysis centre catered to 139 patients, out of which 49 received a total of 414 dialysis sessions. Additionally, 90 patients received checkups and medical tests at the kidney disease clinic. Among the beneficiaries, 58% were males and 42% were females. Moreover, 83% of the beneficiaries were residents, 16% were displaced individuals, and 1% were refugees.

These efforts and services are part of the humanitarian projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to enhance the capacity of the medical sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

KSrelief inaugurates new batch of dates distribution project in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday the latest phase of the date distribution project in Hadramout Al-Wadi, as part of the annual dates aid initiative in Yemen for 2023.

During this phase, 3,000 cartons of dates will be distributed to the most vulnerable families, displaced individuals in camps, and families with special needs. The overall project entails the distribution of 625,000 cartons of dates, weighing a total of 5,000 tons. This initiative will benefit 625,000 families across 13 Yemeni governorates, with Hadramout Al-Wadi receiving an allocation of 36,000 cartons of dates. These efforts are in line with the relief and humanitarian projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at assisting the most in-need populations in various countries worldwide.

KSrelief Mobile Medical Nutrition Clinics in Yemen’s Al-Khawkhah Receive More than 14,000 Beneficiaries in April

The Mobile Nutrition Clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Al-Khawkhah District, Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen, have continued to deliver essential treatment services to beneficiaries.

In April 2023, these clinics provided treatment services to a total of 14,208 beneficiaries.

The clinics received patients with various health conditions and provided them with the necessary medical services.
