ADNEC Group Reviews Preparations for Largest Editions of IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 with UAE Diplomats

Abu Dhabi: The ADNEC Group hosted a meeting with diplomatic representatives and military attach©s accredited to the UAE to provide an update on the latest preparations for the largest editions of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025, along with the accompanying International Defence Conference. The exhibitions are held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and are organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council.

According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibitions are scheduled to take place at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 17th to 21st February 2025 and promise to be the largest in the event's history. These events will gather a wide range of local, regional, and international participants, including leading global companies at the forefront of defence industries and advanced artificial intelligence technologies.

Major General Staff Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, expressed pride in collaborating with ADNEC Group to organise this edition, which reflects the UAE's vision to strengthen its position as a global hub for defence industries. He emphasized the exhibitions' role in establishing the UAE as a key player in the global defence industry over the past three decades.

Major General Staff Pilot Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, highlighted the pivotal role of IDEX and NAVDEX in supporting and advancing defence industries while fostering strategic partnerships. He noted that these events provide a platform for showcasing innovations, drawing experts from across six continents.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, remarked on the significance of organizing these events, which underscore ADNEC Group's commitment to enhancing the UAE's position in global defence and technology industries. He highlighted IDEX's evolution into a prominent global defence event, attracting approximately 1.3 million participants and exceeding AED175 billion in announced deals.

Al Dhaheri stated that IDEX and NAVDEX have played a crucial role in establishing Abu Dhabi as a centre for international cooperation and innovation in defence and technology industries, contributing significantly to the national economy. He concluded by affirming ADNEC Group's dedication to advancing these events in alignment with the leadership's vision for a safer and more sustainable future.
