Al ain: Organisers of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship have confirmed the completion of preparations for the 11th edition of ADXC, scheduled to take place on 14th November at the ADNEC Centre Al Ain. The event will feature a full fight card with leading jiu-jitsu and grappling athletes.
According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was made during a press conference at Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa in Al Ain. The press event was attended by Saeed Al Dhaheri, Destination Management Department Director at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, Tareq Al Bahri, Deputy General Manager of International Vision Investment, and athletes including Gabriel Sousa, Ruan Alvarenga, Salla Simola, and Daniel Barbosa.
Organised by International Vision Sports Management in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, ADXC 11 promises a strong lineup of elite matchups, headlined by Brazilian competitors Gabriel Sousa and Ruan Alvarenga. The press conference also featured their final face-off, heightening anticipation ahead of tomorrow's bouts.
Saeed Al Dhaheri expressed that with preparations complete and the athletes gathered in Abu Dhabi, anticipation for the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is high. He highlighted the talent and dedication of the competitors, setting the stage for an event that aims to attract fans globally and further establish Abu Dhabi as a leader in hosting sporting experiences and supporting the growth of combat sports.
Tareq Al Bahri stated that the championship is fully prepared to commence. He noted that each edition of Abu Dhabi Extreme introduces new excitement, and hosting this round in the Al Ain Region underscores the city's historical role while affirming the UAE's leadership in combat sports.
Gabriel Sousa shared his enthusiasm about being in Al Ain, thanking the organisers for the opportunity. He expressed confidence in his preparation and determination to deliver a strong performance, despite facing a challenging opponent.
Daniel Barbosa, on his third participation in the event, voiced his happiness to return to Al Ain. He aims to maintain his winning streak and praised the atmosphere and support from the organisers.
All bouts will be streamed live on TX7 and broadcast on the Abu Dhabi Sports Channel.
