Abu dhabi: China's foreign exchange reserves totaled US$3.4383 trillion at the end of August 2026, reflecting an increase of US$19.5 billion, or 0.57 percent, from the end of July, according to official data.
According to Emirates News Agency, the rise in reserves was attributed to the combined effects of currency translation and asset price changes. The State Administration of Foreign Exchange stated that despite external uncertainties, China's economy remained generally stable, demonstrating resilience and vitality. This economic stability has supported the stability of the country's foreign exchange reserves.
