Dubai Derma 2026 to Showcase Global Innovations in Dermatology and Aesthetics

Abu dhabi: Dubai is set to host the 25th edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, known as Dubai Derma 2026, from the 8th to the 10th of September at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will be held under the theme 'Shaping the Future of Dermatology and Aesthetics'.

According to Emirates News Agency, the conference will gather specialists, researchers, and companies from the fields of dermatology, aesthetics, and laser medicine. Italy will participate as the Guest of Honour, highlighting its expertise and exploring clinical and business collaborations. The event will feature over 400 exhibitors showcasing more than 1,800 international brands from 115 countries, with an expected attendance of over 25,000 trade visitors. The Republic of Korea will have the largest country participation.

Prof. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of Dubai Derma and Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean for the GCC Region, noted that Dubai Derma is a testament to Dubai's vision of building global platforms that foster knowledge, expertise, and innovation. He emphasized that the 25th edition signifies the event's evolution into an international hub for medical expertise and collaboration.

The scientific programme will include over 340 speakers, 70 sessions, and 350 lectures, along with 65 case studies and 40 professional poster presentations. It will also feature 17 international scientific affiliations, more than 50 workshops, 30 practical workshops, three industry partner sessions, and 11 live clinical sessions. Topics will range from medical research, new drugs, and therapeutics to paediatric dermatology, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, and advances in laser medicine. Special sessions will delve into psychodermatology and the relationship between skin health and mental wellbeing.

Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Chairman of the Dubai Derma Conference and Professor of Dermatology, stated that the programme integrates scientific evidence, clinical experience, and therapeutic developments, addressing challenges in everyday practice. He expressed the goal for participants to gain new knowledge and practical insights to enhance dermatological care.

The event will also focus on engaging resident and junior dermatologists through clinical case presentations and interactive discussions. Competitions for clinical cases and digital posters will offer platforms for sharing research and experiences. Dr. Hassan Galadari, Head of the Scientific Committee, highlighted the emphasis on clinical interaction and knowledge exchange among different generations of dermatologists.

The conference will host the third Regional Associations Assembly Meeting, bringing together leaders of dermatology societies to discuss regional cooperation and support for Dubai's bid to host the World Congress of Dermatology in 2031. The accompanying exhibition will display products, equipment, and technologies related to dermatology, skincare, aesthetics, and lasers, with the Derma Business Hub facilitating connections between exhibitors and pre-qualified buyers.

Educational activities will include the Pre-Conference Course on Dermatology and Dermatopathology and the AADA Fellowship Course on Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Lasers. Training will cover various dermatological procedures and treatment techniques.

Dubai Derma is organized annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, in collaboration with the Arab Academy of Dermatology and Aesthetics (AADA). It is supported by the Dubai Health Authority, the Pan Arab League of Dermatology, the GCC League of Dermatologists, and the Emirates Dermatology Society (EDS).
