Major General Alshamsi emphasized that the event demonstrates the UAE's dedication to comprehensive military readiness, defence coordination, and joint operational environments aimed at enhancing both regional and global security. He stated that the conference is not merely a military event but a forum for shaping the future of air and space superiority, while exploring strategic deterrence tools in a rapidly transforming era.
This year's theme underscores future operational concepts for airpower, focusing on readiness, technological superiority, and multi-domain integration in increasingly complex battlespaces. The event arrives at a crucial moment as the world experiences rapid advancements in hypersonic systems, artificial intelligence, and unmanned aerial technologies, necessitating readiness and swift adaptability.
Since 2003, the conference has been recognized as a strategic global platform, bringing together air force commanders worldwide to engage in high-level discussions addressing major shifts in air and space combat systems and anticipating future warfare tools.
The conference will feature panel discussions on critical operational priorities such as hypersonic technologies, artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial systems, air and space integration, the evolution of future fighters, military alliances and defence policies, and the UAE Air Force's readiness for innovation and strategic partnerships.
Supported by a distinguished group of strategic partners, the conference aims to achieve its objectives while demonstrating a commitment to advancing innovation in aviation and defence. The Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement participates as the National Industry Enablement Partner, while EDGE Group serves as the Strategic Partner.
