The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced enabling the eSignature feature at the level of ministries and federal entities by using the UAE PASS’ technologies, in conjunction with the UAE PASS platform.

In this regard, Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, explained that all ministries and federal entities can start implementing the eSignature on all procedures embedded in the Human Resources Information Management System in the Federal Government “Bayanati”, in accordance with the mechanisms set forth in this regard and to the best means of protection and confidentiality, as the system will automatically refer them to the UAE PASS Application in order to complete the eSignature procedures through it.

Her Excellency called on all concerned parties and employees in the federal entities to leverage upon the new feature and activate their accounts in the UAE PASS platform; so that they can benefit from using this technology.

She also stated that this project reflects FAHR’s keenness to develop the system and work tools in the Federal Government and to accelerate the procedures; pointing out that the project primarily serves the directions of the UAE’s Wise Leadership with regard to the automation of the government services and transforming them into smart ones in order to improve and enrich the customer experience.

In addition, she commended the efforts of the strategic partners who cooperated with FAHR in the pursuit of making this strategic project a success. And they are: (the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), Dubai Digital Authority, and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP)).
