H.E. Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), attended the UAE Flag Day celebration at the Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai joined by the Authority’s leadership and staff. H.E. Al Suwaidi delivered a speech at the celebration in which she stated: “The UAE Flag Day is an important national occasion on which we recall the efforts and sacrifices of the founding fathers of our state, in particular, those of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This event is a great opportunity for us to reaffirm our allegiance and loyalty to the UAE’s leadership led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates”.

She also pointed out that the UAE’s flag is a symbol of the country’s sovereignty and power and bears testament to its achievements. Therefore, locals and residents alike are collectively responsible to honor the flag and celebrate it regionally and internationally. The UAE was able to achieve a prominent position internationally across many arenas and on various levels thanks to the continuous guidance and directives of our leadership.

H.E. Al Suwaidi extended her warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses, Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the government and people of the UAE on this occasion.
