Hamdan bin Mohammed Invited by Indian Prime Minister for April Visit

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has received an official invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India in April this year. The invitation was delivered by Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs, during a meeting with Sheikh Hamdan.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Hamdan welcomed Dr. Jaishankar and his delegation warmly, reaffirming the robust ties between the UAE and India that encompass economic, cultural, social, and developmental dimensions. The Crown Prince emphasized the ongoing growth in relations under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During their discussions, both parties explored enhancing their bilateral cooperation, focusing on sectors critical to their future aspirations. The talks highlighted the significance of strengthening economic relations by utilizing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to boost trade flows and investment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by key UAE officials, including Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; and Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
