The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments raised the UAE Flag on top of its offices’ buildings across the country in the presence of Mohamed Saeed al-Neyadi, Director-General of Awqaf, along with the Executive Directors and officials at Awqaf, in addition to a host of employees. This came in a joyful national celebration in a moment of excitement, pride, determination, and resolve to accelerate the development of this country regionally and internationally and remain a symbol of civilisation, authenticity, tolerance, co-existence and peace. On this auspicious occasion, Dr Mohamed Matar al-Kaabi, Chairman of Awqaf, extended heartfelt congratulations to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highness the Rulers of the Emirates.
