MBRSG concludes training programme in collaboration with German business school WHU

DUBAI, The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) recently concluded a training programme in collaboration with the German business school WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

The programme aimed to train a group of WHU master’s students on the latest administrative systems and introduce them to the UAE’s experience in that regard.

The programme reinforced classroom teaching and allowed students to learn more about doing business in the UAE, using real-life case studies on culture, international business policies, global governance, crisis management, social entrepreneurship, competitiveness, and economics.

Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, said, “The ‘International Module in the UAE’ training programme, organised with renowned German academic institution WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, is a testament to our commitment to collaborating with like-minded institutions and promoting our philosophy, inspired by the forward-looking vision of our leadership. The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government is dedicated to outlining an ambitious and calculated roadmap for the future to meet the UAE’s leadership aspirations and abide by its directives.”

Dr. Immanuel Azaad Moonesar, Associate Professor in Health Administration and Policy, who was responsible for the programme, stated: “We were pleased to host another group of talented MBA students from Germany in the UAE. We provided them with an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of our successful institutions and policies, further expanding our network of close partnerships with influential institutions from around the world, and the UAE’s.”

The programme is a translation of the agreement signed between MBRSG and WHU and is aimed at preparing business professionals and leaders for the requirements of an increasingly volatile and rapidly developing future.

As Deputy Dean of WHU, Professor Dr Juergen Weigand stated, “MBRSG offers our students a unique opportunity to learn about a country’s economic development strategy and the relationship between the private sector and government in a culturally distinct environment defined by hard work and productive partnerships.”

Dr Zeeshan Sultan, Programme Director for the MBA at WHU, emphasised the partnership with MBRSG, saying, “The study trip to Dubai, in collaboration with MBRSG, provides WHU students with the ideal blend of cross-cultural immersion and academic frameworks to navigate the cultural and business environment in the UAE.”
