Ministry of Education Collaborates with Burjeel Holdings to Enhance Student Healthcare Services.


DUBAI: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has entered into a partnership with Burjeel Holdings to deliver specialized healthcare services to students and ministry employees. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to provide medical treatments and vaccinations for students at all educational levels, as well as healthcare services for ministry employees and their immediate families.

According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed in the presence of key officials, including Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education; Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education; Sheikha Khulood Al Qassimi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Supervision Sector at the Ministry of Education; Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings; and John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings. The signing event took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai.

Burjeel Holdings is set to expand its ‘IFHAS’ initiative under the agreement. This will involve comprehensiv
e health checks aimed at the early detection and prevention of chronic diseases for MoE employees and their families. Additionally, the initiative will include fitness assessments and vaccinations for students nationwide.

The agreement offers various benefits to MoE employees, such as special offers on uninsured medical services, home care services at Burjeel Holdings facilities, and access to priority services. A 24-hour helpline will also be available for Ministry employees, alongside free monthly campaigns and educational lectures on mental, physical, and overall quality of life.

Emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for students and employees, Al Qasim highlighted the importance of partnerships in positively impacting the national education system. He noted that establishing a healthy educational environment is a priority, aligning with the Ministry’s efforts to provide advanced healthcare services and support the country’s sustainability vision.
