The cohort completed a year-long leadership development programme that featured five specialised executive workshops in collaboration with leading UAE-based and international knowledge partners. Participants also engaged in mentoring sessions with global experts, undertook a knowledge study tour to Vietnam, and developed three transformational projects targeting the economy, environment, and industry sectors. The programme involved an immersive Government Expert Track, where participants studied governance challenges worldwide, selected model cases, and designed solutions through the Adopt-a-Country Track.
The UAE Government Leaders Programme 2025 aimed to prepare national leaders to anticipate the future, manage complex projects, and build evidence-based policies, thus enhancing government readiness for upcoming challenges. Established in 2008, the programme has graduated over 770 leaders who have significantly impacted their entities and the broader government landscape.
