Abu dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, is set to inaugurate the seventh National Festival of Tolerance and Coexistence this Friday evening. The event, organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, will take place from November 14th to 18th at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, China will serve as the Guest of Honour at this year's festival. The event aims to engage all segments of UAE society, including citizens, residents, families, children, and students. The festival's theme, 'Hand in Hand,' emphasizes community involvement and promotes a global message of tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity.

During the festival, Sheikh Nahyan will lead the 'Tolerance March to Mars,' accompanied by thinkers, officials, ambassadors, and community members. Commenting on the significance of the festival, he remarked that it serves as a national occasion to commemorate the International Day for Tolerance. Sheikh Nahyan emphasized that the festival highlights the legacy of the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as a humanitarian and global model of tolerance and coexistence. This path is continued by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to ensure the UAE remains a regional and global leader in promoting peaceful coexistence and enhancing the wellbeing of people worldwide.

Welcoming China's participation as the Guest of Honour, Sheikh Nahyan expressed his appreciation for the involvement of diverse global cultures in this significant event.
