Qatar Condemns Renewed Iranian Attacks on UAE and Jordan

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation against recent attacks by Iran, which targeted Jordan with missiles and the United Arab Emirates with a drone. In a statement carried by the Qatar News Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled these attacks as a grave violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the affected nations, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

According to Emirates News Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern that Iran's continued aggression represents a perilous escalation in the region. This escalation poses a risk to ongoing de-escalation efforts and could potentially undermine diplomatic and political initiatives aimed at restoring security and stability.

The State of Qatar has called for an immediate cessation of all military actions and attacks that threaten regional security. The statement urged all parties to refrain from actions that could exacerbate the conflict and emphasized the necessity of returning to dialogue and negotiations. The ministry reiterated the importance of adhering to understandings achieved through diplomatic channels.

Doha has also reaffirmed its solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Jordan, supporting any measures undertaken by these nations to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
