Riyadh Book Fair Workshop Tackles Improving Visibility of Media Content in Search Engines

The Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 featured the workshop “Improving the visibility of media content in search engines,” moderated by Abdullah Al-Ghadouni, a digital marketing trainer and founder of the Triggers Academy, as part of the cultural program organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission under the theme “Riyadh Reads.”

Al-Ghadouni talked about ways to improve website visibility on search engines, noting that 90% of searchers prefer top results, and 80% avoid clicking on or trusting ad links.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of media content and ways to share it online, as well as methods to enriching content and meeting the technical requirements for prominent display on Google’s search page.

Discussions at the end explored ways of creating content relevant to searchers’ interests. Al-Ghadouni highlighted the importance of understanding how people search for specific products and the role of website identity in improving search engine visibility.
