Abu Dhabi:Russia's Deputy Prime Minister, Dmitry Patrushev, has announced projections for the country's grain harvest, estimating it will reach approximately 140 million tonnes by 2026.
According to Emirates News Agency, Patrushev also mentioned expectations for the collection of about 35 million tonnes of oilseeds.
Russia's grain harvest has seen fluctuations in recent years. In 2025, the harvest exceeded 144 million tonnes, marking the third-highest result in the country's history. The previous year, the total was nearly 130 million tonnes. In 2023, Russia achieved its second-largest grain harvest, producing around 143 million tonnes. The record was set in 2022, with a total grain harvest of 157.676 million tonnes.
