Sharjah Chamber Celebrates 13 Winners at Sharjah Excellence Award 2025

Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is set to honour 13 winners of the Sharjah Excellence Award 2025 at an official ceremony tomorrow. Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the event will recognise recipients for their achievements and institutional performance across several economic and development sectors. These winners have met the internationally recognised qualification standards and eligibility criteria applied to the award's eight core categories.

According to Emirates News Agency, the 2025 edition further cements the Sharjah Excellence Award's status as a regional benchmark for institutional excellence and sustainable economic growth. This year saw a notable increase in participation, with 144 applications submitted across various categories, representing a 15% growth compared to the previous edition. This uptick highlights the award's growing credibility and influence among businesses throughout the UAE, the Gulf region, and wider markets.

The award's alignment with international best practices has expanded its reach to serve a broader range of business sectors and stakeholder groups. A significant milestone for this edition is the complete digital transformation of operational processes, achieved through the launch of a new digital platform. This platform offers a smart and user-friendly experience, enhancing operational efficiency and flexibility for applicants, evaluators, and judging panels.

The digital rollout is complemented by the adoption of an advanced international institutional assessment model based on fourth-generation excellence standards. This model strengthens the integrity, precision, and transparency of the evaluation process, keeping pace with global trends in organisational excellence and institutional leadership.

The Sharjah Excellence Award 2025 features eight categories encompassing a broad spectrum of economic activity and social responsibility, drawing participation from businesses, institutions, and entrepreneurs across various sectors. The categories include the Sharjah Gulf Localisation Award, Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award, Sharjah Excellence Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurs Award, Sharjah Small and Medium Enterprises Award, Sharjah Social Responsibility Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurs with Disability Award, and Sharjah Best Security Standards Award.
