Sultan bin Ahmed Chairs Key Sharjah National Oil Corporation Meeting

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), chaired the corporation's senior management meeting on Wednesday morning at the Department of Oil. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed welcomed attendees and acknowledged the significant efforts by SNOC to enhance its operations and support project programs aligned with Sharjah's strategy for sustainable development, energy security, and environmental protection.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting covered several agenda items concerning SNOC's performance and future plans. The proposed financial budget for 2026 was approved, alongside a five-year plan for 2026-2030 aimed at supporting operational development. The development plan for the Hadiba Field and several strategic projects currently underway were also approved.

The meeting also included a review of SNOC's digital transformation project and its completion timeline, aligning with Sharjah's vision for digital transformation. This project aims to enable the adoption of the latest technological, digital, and artificial intelligence systems.

Prior to the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed honored the founding members on SNOC's 15th anniversary, commending their efforts and expressing gratitude for their contributions. He captured commemorative photographs with them to mark the occasion.

Attendees included Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of SNOC; Hatem Mohamed Al Mosa, Director-General of the Petroleum Department; and Khamis Abdullah Al Mazrouei, CEO of SNOC.
