Tokyo:The death toll from Typhoon Dujuan, which impacted the greater Tokyo area with heavy rain earlier this week, has increased to nine.

According to Emirates News Agency, Japanese media reported that rescue teams are still searching for four individuals missing in the prefectures of Chiba and Kanagawa. Initially, four deaths were confirmed on Tuesday.

Typhoon Dujuan, recognized as the 25th typhoon of the season, has since moved out over the Pacific Ocean. It caused significant damage in Chiba, particularly due to landslides and flooding.
