Amman:The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned a terrorist attack in the Jordanian capital, Amman, which resulted in the martyrdom of a public security officer. The incident involved an attack with a sharp object, also leaving a patrol officer injured.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its strong condemnation of such terrorist and criminal acts. The ministry emphasized its firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism that aim to undermine security and stability.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased officer and to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its people. Additionally, it conveyed its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured officer.
