UAE Leads World in Customer Satisfaction with Digital Government Services

Dubai:The United Arab Emirates has achieved the top position globally in customer satisfaction with digital government services. This achievement is highlighted by the 2026 Digital Government Citizen Survey Report from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which indicates that 89% of survey participants in the UAE rated these services highly. The survey involved 48,500 participants across 44 countries.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE also ranked first worldwide in the use of digital government services, with a usage rate of 53%. This success reflects the ongoing advancement of the country's government services system, emphasizing accessibility, efficiency, and the quality of the user experience.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, expressed pride in this achievement, emphasizing the UAE's commitment to enhancing the quality of life through superior government services. He announced that in November, the UAE Government would reveal significant changes in its service delivery model during a major event.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, noted that the UAE's leadership in this area embodies the vision of prioritizing people in government service design. This approach focuses on continuous development, incorporating digital infrastructure, and leveraging national talent and advanced technologies. The goal is to transition from digital to smarter, more proactive services driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

The BCG report further revealed that 76% of UAE participants believe their digital government services surpass those offered by the private sector. Additionally, 82% of participants in the UAE engage with AI weekly, laying a strong foundation for AI-driven government services. The report emphasizes the need for responsible AI use, technical safeguards, and increased AI literacy to maximize its impact on government services.

These findings underscore the UAE's strategic position in developing a forward-thinking government model that integrates technology and AI, boosting innovation, quality of life, and global competitiveness in government service delivery.
