New York:Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, concluded a series of high-level engagements during the United Nations General Assembly in New York, reinforcing the UAE's role as a global partner in trade and investment.

According to Emirates News Agency , Al Zeyoudi participated in various meetings, roundtables, and business council engagements aimed at expanding trade and investment, supporting sustainable development, and advancing digital innovation. These activities were focused on strengthening economic ties with international partners.

A significant aspect of the engagements was investment mobilisation and development finance. Al Zeyoudi took part in discussions with the BCIU, a working lunch with the Office of Development Affairs partners, and a roundtable on mobilizing capital for sustainable development organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Al Zeyoudi also engaged in dialogue with senior counterparts, including Thailand's Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun, Peru's Minister of Foreign Trade Rogers Espinoza, and Argentina's Minister of International Trade Pablo Quirno. These meetings focused on deepening economic relations and promoting bilateral trade and investment.

He further participated in international business and policy forums, such as those organized by the UAE-US Business Council and the European Council on Africa and Middle East Affairs. These engagements were aimed at strengthening dialogue with global business leaders and showcasing the UAE's investment environment.
