The award highlights Ziina's success in creating a financial platform in Dubai that offers entrepreneurs fast and convenient payment solutions.

According to Wam, Ziina has rapidly evolved from a peer-to-peer transfer app into a comprehensive financial platform. The company, founded by siblings Faisal, Sarah, and Talal Toukan, has made significant strides in simplifying mobile payments, achieving a payment volume of over $1.5 billion. Ziina now serves 500,000 users and supports 290,000 business owners.

Ziina's development reflects the Dubai-it philosophy, which emphasizes speed, excellence, and substantial growth in financial technology. Over four years, the platform has introduced more than 13 products and features, catering to a diverse range of businesses from SMEs to home-based entrepreneurs across the UAE.

Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, praised Ziina for turning Dubai's opportunities into valuable Arab technological capabilities.
