Another Palestinian joins martyrs’ ranks

Another Palestinian joined the martyrs’ ranks on Saturday when he was shot by the occupation Israeli forces near Jenin city.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement that Ahmad Atatreh, 33, was shot by the Israeli troops at a checkpoint while he was passing on his bicycle. The Israelis barred medics from reaching Atatreh and kept him lay on the ground sprawling in his blood until the last breath.

Earlier today, Palestinians held a funeral for two martyrs who had been shot during an Israeli raid on Balata camp east of Nablus.

According to the ministry, 151 Palestinians have fallen as martyrs since early this year.
