JUSTICE MINISTER, EU DELEGATION KICKS OFF NEGOTIATIONS OVER LEBANON’S COOPERATION WITH EUROJUST

Caretaker Minister of Justice, Judge Henry El-Khoury, on Thursday kicked off negotiations with a European Union delegation regarding judicial cooperation between Lebanon and Eurojust, under the authorization of both Former President General Michel Aoun and Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati. Negotiations will continue Thursday through Friday, to be completed in subsequent rounds. It is noteworthy that “Eurojust” is an EU agency that cooperates judicially with authorities related to criminal affairs, and its headquarters is in The Hague – Netherlands.
