Abu Dhabi:Leaders from the global health sector will convene in Abu Dhabi for the Future Health Summit 2026, scheduled from October 20th to 22nd, 2026.
According to Emirates News Agency, the summit, themed "To Sense is to Predict," will explore advancements in AI, genomics, diagnostics, and health data that can help health systems transition from merely responding to illnesses to predicting risks, preventing diseases, and preserving health. The event is organized by the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi as part of the emirate's efforts to develop an integrated, prevention-led health ecosystem.
The summit aims to build on the work of Future Health, a year-round initiative that has already engaged in significant activities, including the Future Health Challenge and collaborations with global organizations like MIT's Koch Institute. The event will feature 130 speakers, over 175 exhibitors, and participants from 100 countries, covering topics in health systems, science, technology, policy, and investment.
Prominent speakers will include Mansoor Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi; Pascal Soriot, CEO of AstraZeneca; and Tim Schmid, EVP and Worldwide Chairman of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, among others. Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, emphasized the summit's goal to transform health systems by integrating science, data, and technology for more predictive and personalized healthcare models.
The event will feature a forum with keynotes and discussions, a Global Exhibition showcasing innovations, and side events for in-depth collaboration. Future Health, launched in 2025, continues to drive global health innovation through its partnerships and initiatives, supported by its founding and strategic partners.
