According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Saud highlighted the significance of the 49th anniversary of the Armed Forces' unification, describing it as a cherished national milestone. The event, dated back to May 6, 1976, reflects the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding leaders. This historic decision centralized the command of the UAE Armed Forces, safeguarding the nation's security and fostering growth and peace regionally and globally.
Sheikh Saud further elaborated that the unification was a strategic decision, preparing the nation for future challenges and ensuring a prosperous developmental journey.
