Abu dhabi: Mahamat Assileck Halata, Minister of Land Affairs, Housing Development and Town Planning of Chad, emphasized that the UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum, currently underway in Abu Dhabi, presents significant opportunities for Chad. The forum serves as a platform to showcase Chad's potential as a destination for development and investment.
According to Emirates News Agency, the minister expressed Chad's intention to strengthen its ties with the United Arab Emirates through this forum. He highlighted that Chad's natural and human resources position it as a potential economic hub in Central Africa. The minister stressed that Chad is making progress towards sustainable development, with opportunities in sectors such as energy, trade, housing, and manufacturing, which could attract international investors.
Furthermore, the minister mentioned that the Chadian delegation at the forum includes several ministers and officials. Their aim is to forge new partnerships with both government and private sector entities to draw in capital and development projects.
