DCD Launches ‘Family Space’ at GITEX Global 2025

Abu dhabi: Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development - Abu Dhabi (DCD), visited the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, witnessing the launch of the new 'Family Space' project on the 'TAMM' platform. The initiative aims to support families in Abu Dhabi by facilitating access to government services through a unified smart dashboard.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Dhaheri's visit included a briefing on prominent digital initiatives and projects, showcasing the Abu Dhabi Government's efforts to leverage technology and innovation for enhancing quality of life and strengthening service integration. The 'Family Space' project, developed in collaboration with the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) and other government entities, aims to empower families through an integrated digital experience that simplifies managing daily family needs.

This initiative enables family members to access a variety of services throughout different life stages, from marriage services and children's education to overall family well-being. It ensures a stable and high-quality life by providing seamless management of family needs. Al Dhaheri emphasized the importance of such projects in advancing community services through AI and modern technologies.

The 'Family Space' project offers an interactive user interface with a personalized control panel for each family. Users can access relevant government services, including issuing documents, registering children in schools, monitoring academic reports, and tracking school transport. It offers services tailored to specific groups, such as senior citizens and people of determination (POD). A notable feature is the 'Family Tree,' which visually and interactively displays family data, connecting users to customized information and services for each member.

The project aims to provide a seamless user journey through the 'TAMM' platform, simplifying access to over 190 digital services. This integration ensures an efficient and quality service experience while supporting family and community well-being. The platform includes the 'Medeem' journey for young people preparing for marriage, offering financial and housing support and a premarital preparation program. It also includes a dashboard for pet owners and domestic helpers to manage data and official documents.
