Dubai: Downtown Design, the key fair of Dubai Design Week, is scheduled to open on November 5, 2025, at the Waterfront Terrace in Dubai Design District (d3). The event will run until November 9, showcasing a range of international design brands and regional studios, from emerging talent to well-established names, solidifying its status as the premier platform for contemporary design in the Middle East.
According to Emirates News Agency, the fair is held in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC, and supported by Dubai Culture. This year's edition will feature a diverse array of categories including furniture, lighting, surfaces, textiles, home accessories, and limited-edition designs from across the globe.
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, emphasized the importance of platforms like Downtown Design and Dubai Design Week in nurturing a rich and distinct design narrative that aligns with the city's ambitions. She noted that these events provide a vital and dynamic platform for both regional creatives and global brands to exchange ideas and set new benchmarks for the industry.
Mette Degn-Christensen, Director of Downtown Design, highlighted the fair's growth, noting its role in bridging the worlds of design and contemporary culture. She described the Downtown Design 2025 fair experience as a human-centric place to discover, evolve, and connect.
