Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) participated in She Runs 2025, an event that achieved recognition from Guinness World Records for having the most participants in a female run event. This noteworthy event took place on Sunday at Expo City Dubai. According to Emirates News Agency, as the event's Humanitarian Partner, DFWAC participated under the slogan 'Her Voice is Heard. and Her Steps are Confident.' The foundation aimed to spread awareness messages highlighting the inseparable link between a woman's physical and mental health, emphasizing that each confident step towards wellness signifies broader support for the community. At the Race Village, DFWAC set up a booth to introduce visitors and participants to its programmes and services that support women and children. The initiative benefited over 800 visitors and participants and involved the distribution of motivational cards carrying positive messages, symbolizing a woman's journey toward awareness and balance. DFWAC also displ ayed awareness messages throughout the race area and village, including phrases such as 'Physical and mental health two sides of one wellness,' 'Every step is awareness, every achievement is gratitude,' and 'Empowering women means empowering society.' Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of DFWAC, expressed that the foundation's participation in She Runs 2025 aligns with the Year of Community and Dubai's vision to build a cohesive society that prioritizes its people. She underscored that empowering women and enhancing their positive presence are core pillars of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which seeks to strengthen quality of life and social well-being.
