Abu dhabi: Eagle Hills has partnered with the Endowments and Minors' Funds Authority - Awqaf Abu Dhabi to develop a commercial project valued at AED 1 billion, named 'Mother of the Nation City.' The project is a tribute to H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's contributions and aims to support orphans' endowment in the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of key figures, including Abdul Hamid Mohammed Saeed, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Mohamed Alabbar, and Hesham Ibrahim. The project's financial returns will support the 'Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans' campaign, initiated under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This campaign aims to establish a sustainable funding source for orphans across the country.
Eagle Hills will oversee the development and delivery of the project, ensuring sustainable endowment returns are channeled towards supporting orphans in education, healthcare, and dignified living. This initiative is expected to perpetuate the campaign's humanitarian impact and strengthen the role of endowments as an effective development tool.
