Abu Dhabi: EDGE, a prominent advanced technology company and defence group, has announced the signing of a strategic Letter of Intent (LOI) with the AMBIPAR Group, a Brazilian multinational renowned for its environmental management and emergency response services. The agreement signifies the commencement of a potential strategic collaboration focused on enhancing the resilience and confidentiality of AMBIPAR's global operations, particularly within mission-critical communication settings.
According to Emirates News Agency, AMBIPAR is committed to reinforcing its global operational capabilities through cutting-edge technology. To achieve this, the company plans to acquire a suite of KATIM's integrated solutions. This acquisition includes 50 units of the KATIM X3M ultra-secure smartphones and 1,000 user licenses for the KATIM X4 ultra-secure communication platform, along with associated implementation and support services.
Operating in over 40 countries worldwide, including regions such as the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, AMBIPAR provides innovative solutions in emergency response, waste management, logistics, and sustainability.
