Cairo: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced it has auctioned $1.5 billion in dollar-denominated treasury bills on 11 November, aimed at replacing maturing debt of an equivalent amount.
According to Emirates News Agency, the newly issued bills will succeed 363-day bills that carried an average yield of 4.498%. The debt is scheduled to mature on 12 November 2026, as indicated on the CBE's website.
