EHRDC and e and Collaborate to Enhance Emiratisation and Develop National Talent

Abu dhabi: The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) in Dubai and e and have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai. This agreement is aimed at promoting Emiratisation and nurturing national talent within the telecommunications sector.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership demonstrates the shared commitment of both parties to foster public-private cooperation and develop the UAE's human capital. This initiative aligns with the nation's vision to empower Emirati talent across key industries. The MoU was signed by Abdulaziz Al Falahi, General Supervisor of Recruitment Operations at the Council, and Mohammad Harib AlFalahi, Chief Corporate Services Officer, e and, in the presence of senior representatives from e and, including Group CEO Hatem Dowidar, Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer, e and UAE, and Ali Al Mansoori, Group Chief People Officer at e and.

The signing ceremony was attended by Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR and Deputy Chairman of EHRDC, along with dignitaries, industry experts, and key stakeholders from the employment and training sectors. Under the agreement, EHRDC and e and will work together to expand employment opportunities for Emirati nationals in Dubai, emphasizing the private sector's role in driving sustainable economic growth.

The partnership will introduce specialized training programs to enhance the capabilities of national talent across various fields within e and. Additionally, the initiative will utilize the Group's expertise and workforce to facilitate knowledge transfer, empowering Emiratis to excel in emerging future-oriented industries. The agreement focuses on developing Emirati capabilities in technical, digital, and knowledge-based sectors, aligning with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which prioritize investment in national talent to drive innovation-led growth.

Abdulla bin Zayed Al Falasi remarked on the significance of signing the MoU during GITEX GLOBAL, highlighting its role in transforming national strategies into actionable outcomes. He emphasized the focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity to support the preparation of a skilled Emirati workforce ready to lead the future economy.

Ali Al Mansoori, Group Chief People Officer at e and, stated that empowering national talent is central to e and's long-term strategy.
