Abu Dhabi: In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering creators and artisans. These initiatives were revealed at the recent 'Make it in the Emirates' forum held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiatives include support for 20 projects under the National Programme for Culture and Creativity Grants. Additionally, they involve the training of 26 cultural and creativity ambassadors, the development of a marketplace for creators and artisans, and the implementation of virtual cultural experiences. A guide titled 'Explore Emirati Culture' is also being prepared to enrich the experience of tourists entering the UAE through airports and border crossings.
The overall aim of these initiatives is to enhance cultural tourism across various regions and villages in the country, thereby fostering a more vibrant cultural landscape.
