EMSTEEL Joins Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week as Associate Partner to Boost Global Sustainability Efforts

Abu dhabi: Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), the international platform aimed at accelerating sustainable progress, has announced a new partnership with EMSTEEL, the UAE's largest manufacturer of steel and building materials. The announcement highlights EMSTEEL's role as an Associate Partner for ADSW from 2026 to 2028.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, and Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL. This partnership marks a significant commitment by EMSTEEL to support ADSW's objectives of uniting global leaders, investors, and innovators in creating actionable, scalable solutions across various sectors.

ADSW, hosted by Masdar, will take place from January 11th to 15th in Abu Dhabi in 2026. As the first significant event in the global sustainability calendar, it will focus on the theme 'The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go'. The week-long event will begin with the IRENA Assembly and the Global Climate Finance Annual Meeting and will feature the Opening Ceremony and the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards.

The ADSW Summit and Dialogues are expected to draw over 50,000 participants from more than 170 countries. These events aim to facilitate impactful discussions among global leaders, fostering collaboration, unlocking investment opportunities, and enabling new partnerships. The platform is set to promote global engagement, business growth, and climate action.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi emphasized that the collaboration with EMSTEEL underscores a mutual commitment to decarbonizing heavy industry. He reiterated that ADSW serves as an essential platform for cross-sector dialogues and collaboration, showcasing how clean energy leaders and industrial champions in the UAE are advancing the energy transformation.

Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi added that the partnership with ADSW aligns with EMSTEEL's vision of promoting a sustainable steel and building materials industry. It also reflects EMSTEEL's strategic identity, TrueGreen, which focuses on decarbonization and achieving climate neutrality. He expressed pride in contributing to the global dialogue on sustainable industry from Abu Dhabi, often referred to as the Capital of Sustainability.
