Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, attended a specially convened Dubai Majlis aimed at reinforcing the city's economic resilience. The event brought together nearly 300 senior leaders from Dubai's business community, focusing on strategies that would sustain economic momentum.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of the partnership between the government and the business community as a driving force behind Dubai's economic strength. The meeting, organized by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, highlighted the government's commitment to fostering cooperation with the private sector and ensuring sustainable growth.
The Majlis included the presence of Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications. Attendees received briefings from Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Major General Abdul Nasser Al Humaidi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, and Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline.
Discussions at the meeting revolved around strategies to bolster national economic resilience and maintain Dubai's status as a global hub for trade, tourism, and investment. Reem Al Hashimy urged collective efforts to further Dubai's development, while Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, reiterated the city's commitment to aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Sir Tim Clark highlighted the robust adaptability of Dubai's aviation sector, noting the strong global demand for travel through the city. The meeting concluded with a reinforced commitment to advance growth in line with Dubai's economic ambitions, further establishing its position as a leading city for business, investment, and innovation.
