Kuwait to Host Gulf Red Crescent Conference on AI

Kuwait city: Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) announced that the first-ever Gulf Red Crescent Conference on Artificial Intelligence will be held on 22nd October, as reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). KRCS Chairman Khaled Al-Maqamis emphasized that the event is a significant step towards creating a unified Gulf vision for utilizing artificial intelligence in humanitarian efforts, enhancing Kuwait's role as a hub for human innovation and Gulf cooperation.

According to Emirates News Agency, the conference will be organized in partnership with the GCC General Secretariat and will take place from 22nd to 23rd October at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. The event will align with the Gulf Red Crescent Day on October 23, drawing participation from Gulf and international experts, specialists, and representatives of humanitarian organizations.

Al-Maqamis mentioned that the conference reflects the Kuwait charity's dedication to staying updated with technological advancements and leveraging artificial intelligence for humanitarian and developmental media purposes. The event aims to explore the potential of AI in enhancing humanitarian and relief efforts.
