The Makkah Region Police arrested a resident of Egyptian nationality for promoting fake Hajj campaigns and selling invalid Hajj bracelets through social media. Legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.

Security authorities are calling on the public to abide by the rules and regulations of Hajj and Umrah and to report invalid Hajj campaigns by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh and the Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
