Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended a group wedding reception for citizens of Abu Dhabi City at Qasr Al Hosn, involving 101 grooms. Sheikh Mansour extended congratulations to the newlyweds and their families, emphasizing the event's role in fostering social cohesion and supporting Emirati family stability.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mansour highlighted that President Sheikh Mohamed's patronage and support for community initiatives underscore the importance placed on the Emirati family as a societal cornerstone. This initiative aligns with the directive to designate 2026 as the 'Year of Family,' celebrating Emirati values and family roles in national development.

The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. The mass wedding, organised by Majalis Abu Dhabi and the Citizens and Community Affairs Office, included heritage activities such as traditional chants, poetry recitals, and an aerial display.

Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, expressed gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed for his support of Emirati youth and families. The grooms and their families also thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his patronage and Sheikh Mansour for attending, acknowledging the leadership's commitment to family stability and youth empowerment.
