Operations Control Center at Aqaba Container Terminal launched

Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) on Thursday launched its Operations Control Center. Chief Commissioner of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nayef Fayez, said launch of the center reflects ACT’s “firm” commitment to providing “advanced” infrastructure to provide “world-class” services to its customers, by its sustainable investment in “modern and state-of-the-art” technologies and equipment. Addressing the launching ceremony, he noted the center is a “new” achievement for ACT that would enhance its operations, increase its contribution to Jordan’s growth, development and accelerate work in the business environment within the “latest” principles used globally with “efficiency.” For his part, Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) CEO, Hussein Safadi, lauded the ACT’s “strong performance and “distinguished” achievements during 2023, expressing his confidence in the continuity of this success at the same pace, supported by multiple new innovative steps. ACT CEO, Soren Jensen, said the newly-launched center represents a milestone in the company’s journey, and provides evidence of its commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
