Qatar Stock Exchange index started Thursday’s trading with a decline of 35.35 points, representing a decrease of 0.34 percent. Consequently, it reached a level of 10,256 points compared to the end of Wednesday’s trading.
The decline of the overall index of Qatar Stock Exchange is be attributed to the negative performance of several sectors, including the banking and financial services sector by 0.69 percent, the industrial sector by 0.42 percent, and the transport sector by 0.13 percent, while the insurance sector performed positively by 1.26 percent, the communications sector by 0.58 percent, the real estate sector by 0.45 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.33 percent.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR109.543 million, distributed to 58.675 million shares, with 3.455 transactions.
