Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, marked Flag Day by raising the UAE flag at Al Qawasim Corniche. He emphasized that Flag Day is a significant national event symbolizing pride, loyalty, and belonging to the homeland.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Saud expressed that the day is a celebration of unity and cohesion, reflecting the dedication and sincerity instilled by the UAE's Founding Fathers. These values are the foundation for the nation's progress, with a focus on knowledge and human development.

Sheikh Saud was joined by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, and other dignitaries including Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, as well as federal and local officials, citizens, and residents.

He stated that Flag Day is an opportunity to renew the pledge of loyalty to the nation, reaffirming unity and solidarity. Sheikh Saud noted that the day serves as a reminder of the Union's founders, including the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who established the UAE's foundations.

Sheikh Saud highlighted that raising the flag embodies national pride and the UAE's global presence, reinforcing the country's commitment to humanitarian values. He extended congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other leaders, as well as the people of the UAE, wishing for continued security, prosperity, and progress.
