The Saudi capital, Riyadh, will host today, Thursday, the ministerial meeting of the international coalition to defeat the terrorist organization ISIS, which includes 85 countries and partner organizations belonging to a number of countries of the world, with the participation of foreign ministers of member states.
Among the participants in the meeting are the US Secretary of State and the foreign ministers of the European Union, Britain, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq and Morocco or their representatives.
Today, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna arrives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the ministerial meeting of the international coalition to combat the terrorist “ISIS” organization.
“France stands by the international community to continue combating terrorism with firmness and determination, especially within the framework of the international coalition against ISIS,” said the French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Anne-Claire Legendre, today, Thursday, at a press conference.
The spokeswoman said that the visit would be “an occasion for the minister to discuss our priorities and to continue our work.”
Several organizations, including the European Union, the Arab League, the International Judicial Police Organization (Interpol), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Group of African Sahel-Saharan States, will also participate in the meeting./ End
