Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, presided over the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) meeting at the Ruler's Office. The session, attended by key council members, focused on advancing Sharjah's development across various sectors and enhancing residents' quality of life.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Council issued a decision concerning unattested lease contracts in Sharjah. The decision provides for a 50% exemption from attestation fees for contracts concluded before the implementation of Law No. (5) of 2024. Additionally, those attesting their contracts will be exempt from administrative fines related to non-attestation. These exemptions are valid from 1 November 2025 to 31 December 2025 and apply to all lease contract types.
The Council also approved the Hasaad Centre Project, aimed at supporting the agricultural sector. The project will serve as a hub for farmers, facilitating access to services and enabling contracts with retail chains, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and managing market risks through pre-agreed contracts.
Preparations for Sharjah's 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations were also discussed. The events will highlight the UAE's achievements and cultural heritage through artistic performances, heritage zones, and activities involving national enterprises.
