Dubai: Dubai Future Academy, an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has launched the second edition of FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme, marking a significant step towards preparing senior and next-generation leaders to navigate future transformations and opportunities.
According to Emirates News Agency, the second edition of FEEL attracted 401 applications from 68 nationalities, out of which 30 participants representing 15 nationalities and 15 sectors were selected. This four-week immersive journey promises to provide participants with hands-on experience in futures thinking, foresight methodologies, and practical application, equipping them to anticipate emerging global trends.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, emphasized that FEEL aligns with Dubai's strategy for future readiness. He stated, "Successful future leaders are those who anticipate change and leverage foresight skills to keep pace with transformative innovation pathways." AlJaziri highlighted that FEEL is instrumental in shaping decision-makers who are proficient in foresight, aligning with DFF's mission to position Dubai as a global hub of future design and innovation.
The programme aims to empower leaders across various sectors by providing insights and tools for designing better futures in socio-economic development, knowledge progress, business expansion, and global competitiveness. This year's edition focuses on enhancing participants' foresight capabilities and futures literacy through a combination of theoretical learning, practical workshops, expert networking, and field visits.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with global experts and visit pioneering institutions such as the Technology Innovation Institute, Micropolis Robotics, the Sustainability and Innovation Center at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, and Dubai Future Labs. These engagements are designed to provide participants with insights into innovation and sustainability practices.
FEEL remains a cornerstone of DFF's vision to foster a competitive, innovation-driven leadership ecosystem, positioning Dubai as a launchpad for transformative ideas and lasting global partnerships.
